Matthew Falls

Matthew Falls was part of a team that built a technology company and sold it to a major national competitor. He now helps emerging companies that need a seasoned executive to fill out their senior team. He brings the experience and expertise that emerging companies need without the cost of a full-time team member.

Matthew focuses on driving organic revenue, tapping the expertise of employees to reduce costs, creating innovation teams that transform ideas into highly profitable products, inspiring teams to win more business and creating internal controls and cost systems that sustain profitability.

Andrew Polcha

Andrew is a high-tech entrepreneur, inventor and innovator focused on emerging markets such as IPTV, biometrics and digital securities. Andrew is currently CEO & co-founder of World Pipe Communications, Inc. with WORLDPIPE being his fourth start-up.  Andrew has over 20 years of experience in solution development, new product development, development of product specifications, pilot/prototype development, business development, business plan development, and corporate construction.  Andrew is also an expert in patent development (IP management) and technology licensing.

Andrew is an experienced project manager with a specialty of developing solutions from concept to product in a wide variety of business applications. Andrew is particularly interested in client/server and managed services including data, TV and security – he is always interested in telecommunications and security and envelope pushing approaches in blending the two.  In his spare time, Andrew serves as a member of the Chapter Executive Committee (2013/14) for the MIT Enterprise Forum of Washington, D.C. and Baltimore. Andrew is also a member of Mindshare (2006), an exclusive, invitation only organization of CEOs.
Andrew holds patents in areas of VPNs, DRM, IPTV, Biometrics and LAN/WAN Services

Susan King

Susan King is a lawyer with Caulkins & Bruce P.C.  She provides a broad range of businesses with general corporate and business representation.  Susan frequently represents clients in merger and acquisition transactions and has assisted numerous companies with the private placement of debt and equity securities, including venture capital transactions.

She also counsels clients on diverse corporate and business issues, including formation of corporations and limited liability companies, corporate governance and equity holder relationships issues, general contract issues, preservation of confidential information, and employment law issues.  She has represented a diverse client base, including e-commerce companies, Internet and App content providers, software developers, government contractors, providers of health care related goods and services and consulting companies.

Susan received her law degree, with honors, from the National Law Center at George Washington University, and is admitted to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia.



Jason Ware

Jason Ware serves as the Operations and Website Chair.  He is responsible for organizing our group to run successful programs which includes overseeing the membership, engagement, registration, budget and planning teams, as well as preparing contracts for speakers and venues.  He built a process to quantify event success and he created a system to track source data to build a business profile for our group.  Jason is also responsible for reviewing content, building the website and communicating MITEFDC information to the public.

Jason currently is a Director of Contracts working with cybersecurity, aerospace and defense companies.  Before D.C., Jason was on Wall Street working on license agreements, filing patents, handling IP conflicts and networking systems for NY startups.  His technical background, master of engineering degree and intellectual property work with engineers in various fields has been expanded in DC by work on security equipment and Federal contract negotiation.

Jason is also on the Board of Directors for the national Cornell Engineering Alumni Association with over 1,300 members in the DC region. He looks forward to applying the lessons learned from that group to building the MITEFDC group. Jason was impressed to learn MIT alumni have started over 25,000 companies worldwide.
